I am a therapeutic photographer who specializes in queer and body-affirming portraiture, and trauma-informed photography education. I am an advocate for the fat acceptance movement, destigmatizing addiction, and the use of a trauma sensitive approach when working with clients. I have over 10 years of experience working with and photographing folks in recovery from addiction, sexual trauma and eating disorders.
I use my camera as a tool to document moments of profound vulnerability and resilience. Guided by trauma-informed principles, I approach clients with compassion, respect, and a keen awareness of the impact of trauma. I seek to provide spaces for individuals to express themselves, reclaim their narratives, and find empowerment in their stories.

The push for generative AI and machine learning has emphasized a way of working that removes creativity and critical thinking. Its use further distances artists and photographers from their work by encouraging shorter timelines for lower quality work.
As AI tools become more readily available, creative professionals are losing work to folks who don’t share the same passion, drive, or desire because these tools can get the job done faster and for a lot less money (not to mention the artistic theft that comes from machine learning).
I am committed to continuously looking for ways to minimize AI in my workflow by changing the way I work with and relate to software, automation, and the digital world.

If you're not a “lingerie” person, you don't have to wear it now! I want to celebrate you as you are. I've photographed folks in everything from their birthday suit to fully clothed.

Nudity is not required during your session. I recognize that nudity is a sensitive subject for some, and strive to make you as comfortable as possible during the session.
Your pre-session questionnaire will ask you a series of questions related to your comfort with nudity and partial nudity.
It is not mandatory to be nude in my space, however, some folks do want to give it a try after the session starts and they start to feel more comfortable.

The only editing I do is cropping and color adjustments.
That means, I don't use any programs to slim you, smooth you, or alter your appearance. I remove small blemishes by request only.
